From one of my excellent customers:
Cruise Review - I never understood why Juan Ponce de León went looking for the Fountain of Youth in Florida. It’s been my observation you would be about as successful looking for the Fountain on a Panama Canal cruise. However I just got off a Princess cruise to Alaska, it was a most pleasurable experience. First off, the meals are, in a word, outstanding, one would be wise to set a goal of a 5 pound weight gain, but if you’re feeling more inspired, 10 pounds for the week is a very reachable goal. The passengers were somewhat more diversified in age than other cruises I’ve been on, still no Fountain, as such, the ship had a wide range of activities, from Harry Potter trivia contests to irish music concerts and the usual stuff (magic shows, yoga, cooking classes, ship tours, dance classes and ect). Princess put some care into making sure everyone had something to do. The best side tour on the whole trip was the Butchart Gardens fireworks show, hands down the best side tour on any cruise I’ve been on and the best fireworks show I’ve seen - so the bottom line, Kim and myself had a great time. Also Philip Holcombe from Dream Vacations crafted a fabulous trip, that being the case, I plan to use him in my future trips.
